The return
The revenue OakStone recovers. In your own numbers.
Conservatively, a 4-site private group recovers between roughly £95,000 and £215,000 in year one — depending on how busy the group is and whether the treatment-plan engine is switched on. Every figure is ID-paired and invoiceable, proven on your own data during the pilot. Not projections.
Illustrative — a 4-site private group, year one
Recovered revenue only, versus a flat per-site fee. Multiples are annual.
OakStone works with private multi-site groups only — NHS-heavy or mixed practices are out of scope and aren't modelled here. "Quieter" means a lower-volume private group: recovered value scales roughly linearly with appointment and treatment-plan volume while the fee stays flat, so even a quieter group is comfortably positive at the founding rate. "vs £1k/site" is the founding-partner fee; "vs £2k/site" is the standard fee. Unbooked treatment plans — the largest private lever — need the live treatment-plan feed, which is why the "full engine" rows sit higher.
One recovered implant, or a couple of filled no-show slots, covers the month.
The subscription is flat per site — and a single recovered high-value case, or a handful of no-shows turned back into bookings, pays for OakStone many times over. Everything beyond that is recovered revenue your group had already earned.
What the number leaves out — and why
The figures above are the floor, not the ceiling. They count only what's provable, patient by patient, in your own ledger. Real return sits on top of them — we keep it out of the headline precisely so the headline stays defensible.
New patients from reviews & referrals
The review booster and referral engine generate genuine new registrations — but a new patient can't be cleanly attributed to a single message, so it stays out of the invoiceable figure rather than inflate it.
Staff time absorbed
The system does the day-to-day work of a patient / recall coordinator — capacity saved, a role you don't have to fill. That's cost and capacity, not cash recovered, so it isn't summed into a revenue number.
Patient retention
Satisfaction and recall follow-ups keep patients on the book longer and lift lifetime value. Real money — but a trend rather than a line-item, so it's shown, never summed.
The cross-client network effect
As the intelligence network learns which sequences, timings and wordings convert best and propagates the winners back, each client's recovered value rises over time without paying more. A compounding trajectory that activates with clients — not a fixed year-one amount.
Strategic & exit value
Benchmarks, yield optimisation and an acquisition-grade data room raise the value of the business itself. That return depends on the owner acting on it, over a multi-year horizon — a separate conversation, not the year-one recovered-revenue figure.
The discipline is deliberate: the headline is what OakStone can put in front of you and prove. Everything above is real money that lands on top of it — never summed into the number, so the number stays honest.
How we prove it
Before anything goes live, we capture your baseline — unbooked treatment, lapsed patients, no-shows, empty chairs. That number is the thing we improve against.
Every month after, you receive a report of exactly what OakStone recovered, measured in your own data against that baseline. Not a projection, not a benchmark — your recovered revenue, in your diary.
If it isn't working, the same report shows that too. We don't ask you to take it on faith.
