OakStone Digital was founded in 2026 by Sami Tekle, a PPE student at the University of Warwick focused on how operational complexity scales in multi-site healthcare businesses. The company was built around a specific observation: the UK private dental group market had accumulated operational complexity — multiple sites, multiple PMS instances, dormant patient lists in the tens of thousands, rotating CQC cycles, and private-equity conversations forming in the background — and the infrastructure available to manage it hadn't kept pace.

Every tool that existed was built for single-site practices or adapted from another industry. Nothing was purpose-built for the reality of a group owner coordinating multiple principals across sites, keeping recall and treatment follow-up running everywhere at once, and preparing for growth or exit — all while the day-to-day still has to work.

OakStone sits between a client's practice-management software and their patients. It reads appointment data, identifies missed revenue opportunities, and acts automatically: recalls, reactivations, treatment-plan follow-ups, DNA prevention, membership growth. All of it running around the clock, without requiring staff to change how they work.
